How to make Stuffed Basket Chicken Wraps

Craving a meal that’s both comforting and exciting? These Stuffed Basket Chicken Wraps have you covered! Tender, soy-glazed chicken meets crisp veggies, all wrapped in a soft homemade flatbread. The balance of sweet, savory, and crunchy flavors makes each bite satisfying and fresh. Perfect for a quick dinner, lunch, or a fun family meal, these wraps are a delicious way to enjoy simple, wholesome ingredients in a creative, flavorful way.

1. Prepare the dough

Add salt to the flour, then pour in the oil. After that, add the boiling water. Mix everything well. When the dough becomes more consistent, start kneading it. Once kneaded, place the dough in a bag and let it rest for 20 minutes.

After resting, cut the dough into equal pieces and cover them with a kitchen towel. Take one piece of dough at a time and roll it out into thin flatbreads, about 10 cm in diameter.

2. Cooking the Flatbreads

Heat a pan. Place a flatbread on the hot pan and cook for 30 seconds, then flip it. Cook for another 30 seconds and flip again. The flatbread should puff up like a balloon. Once fully puffed, remove from the pan.

Continue the same with the remaining flatbreads. Once done, cut the flatbreads in half and separate the insides to create small “pockets.”

3. Filling preparation

Finely chop the meat and season it. Add crushed garlic, honey, and soy sauce, and mix well. Fry the meat until fully cooked.

4. Assembling the wraps

Cut the vegetables for the filling (tomato slices, cucumber slices, and lettuce leaves). Fill the pockets with the meat and vegetables.

These Stuffed Basket Chicken Wraps are a fun and flavorful way to enjoy a wholesome meal. With tender chicken, fresh veggies, and a delicious homemade flatbread, each bite is a perfect combination of comfort and freshness. Whether you’re cooking for yourself or sharing with loved ones, these wraps are sure to impress. So, roll up your sleeves, get creative with your fillings, and enjoy a meal that’s as satisfying to make as it is to eat!
