How to make Mini Mason Jar Pudding Snack

Step 1: Make the Vanilla Pudding Base

In a medium saucepan, mix 108g flour, 100g sugar, and 25g cornstarch. Slowly whisk in 1 liter of milk to create a smooth mixture with no lumps. Heat the saucepan over medium heat, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble. Lower the heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 packet of vanilla sugar. Keep stirring until the butter melts and the vanilla blends in completely. Remove from heat and let the pudding cool slightly.

Step 2: Prepare the Biscuit and Hazelnut Layer

While the pudding cools, crush your favorite buttery biscuits (like shortbread or digestive) into fine crumbs using a food processor or by hand. Spread an even layer of the biscuit crumbs in your serving dish or dessert cups. Sprinkle a handful of finely chopped hazelnuts and some coconut flakes on top for extra crunch and flavor.

Step 3: Assemble the Dessert

Pour the slightly cooled vanilla pudding over the biscuit, hazelnut, and coconut layer. Smooth it out with a spatula. Let it rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then place it in the fridge to chill for 2–3 hours until fully set.

Step 4: Decorate and Serve

After the pudding sets, add your favorite toppings:

Place a dollop of raspberry jam in the center.

Scatter fresh strawberries, grapes, or any seasonal fruits on top.

Shave some dark chocolate over the dessert for a rich touch.

Top each serving with a Raffaello candy or your favorite truffle for an extra special finish.
