Ingredients

  • 1 pcs Sourdough bread
  • Spinach
  • Artichokes in oil
  • ½ Cup of sour cream
  • Cream cheese
  • ½ Cup of Parmesan cheese
  • ½ Cup of mozzarella
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Spinach

  • Begin by heating a little oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant. Next, add the fresh spinach leaves and cook them until they are wilted, stirring gently to ensure even cooking.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture

  • In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and salt. Blend everything using a blender until smooth and creamy.
Then, add the chopped artichokes, grated Parmesan cheese, and shredded cheese to the bowl. Stir the mixture until all the ingredients are fully combined.

Combine the Spinach and Cheese Mixture

  • Incorporate the sautéed spinach into the blended cheese mixture, ensuring that it’s evenly distributed. Season the mixture with pepper and paprika to taste for added flavor.

Prepare the Bread

  • Take a loaf of bread and cut it in half lengthwise. Divide the cheese and spinach mixture in half and spread it generously over both halves of the bread, ensuring the entire surface is covered for a delicious filling.
  • Then, top the stuffed bread halves with a generous layer of grated cheese or mozzarella, spreading it evenly to cover the filling.

Bake

  • Place the prepared bread halves on a baking tray and bake them in a preheated oven at 190-200°C until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown. Once baked, remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and then slice and serve.
