Ingredients
  

For the Chicken & Potatoes

  • 1 kg chicken wings cut in half
  • 4 –5 large potatoes sliced into rounds
  • 150 g plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons pumpkin seed oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Lemon Garlic Sauce

  • 3 –4 garlic cloves
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Marinade
  • In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, mustard, pumpkin seed oil (or olive oil), salt, pepper, sweet paprika, turmeric, and garlic powder until smooth.
  • Marinate the Chicken
  • Add the chicken wings and coat them well in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Prepare the Potatoes
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Slice the potatoes into rounds and place them in a baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and a drizzle of oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Bake the Potatoes
  • Bake the potatoes for 40 minutes, until they begin to soften.
  • Add the Wings
  • Remove the dish from the oven and arrange the marinated chicken wings over the potatoes. Add 50 ml water to the dish.
  • Bake Until Golden
  • Return to the oven and bake for another 45–50 minutes, until the wings are golden and cooked through.
  • Prepare the Lemon Garlic Sauce
  • Crush the garlic with a pinch of salt. Gradually mix in the olive oil and lemon juice, then stir in the chopped parsley.
  • Serve
  • Spoon the lemon-garlic sauce over the hot wings just before serving and enjoy.
