Ingredients
  

  • 250 g pasta spaghetti, linguine, or your favorite kind
  • 300 g shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 3 – 4 garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp dried onion flakes or powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter for cooking shrimp
  • Reserved pasta water as needed

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Slice garlic into thin pieces.
  • Halve cherry tomatoes to release their juices.
  • Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt if desired.

Cook the Shrimp and Pasta

  • In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, cook pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain, reserving about ½ cup of pasta water.

Make the Creamy Sauce

  • In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add cherry tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and dried onion.
  • Pour in whipping cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine and Serve

  • Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  • If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
  • Return shrimp to the pan and cook for 1–2 more minutes until heated through.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy creamy, garlicky shrimp pasta perfection!
