Ingredients
  

  • 2 bananas – ripe peeled, and sliced into circles
  • 1 sheet puff pastry – thawed if frozen lightly rolled out
  • 1 tablespoon milk – for brushing and sealing the pastry
  • 2 tablespoons sugar – to sprinkle on top
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds optional – for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Place the puff pastry sheet on a flat surface and lightly roll it out with a rolling pin to even the layers.
  • Peel the bananas and cut them into circles.
  • Arrange the banana slices in neat rows across the puff pastry.
  • Roll the pastry over the bananas until you reach the end. Brush the edge with a little milk to seal.
  • Slice the roll into even pieces and place them flat on the prepared baking tray.
  • Sprinkle the tops with sugar and chia seeds (if using).
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.
