About Me

Hi there, nice to meet you!

Hi, I’m Angie, and welcome to Sweet Family Meals!
Here, I create and share recipes that I cook in my own kitchen, style and photograph myself, and write up so you can enjoy them too. I also make easy-to-follow tutorials to help bring each dish to life in your home.

My Recipes

Here on Sweet Family Meals, food is all about being:

Fast enough for busy weeknights,

Creative with fun twists on classics,

Clever so flavor never takes a backseat to time or budget,

And always fresh, made from scratch.

I’ll show you how to get bold, delicious flavors from simple, everyday ingredients, without the stress. Think hearty, nourishing meals that come together quickly and make your family say wow.

No packet mixes, no canned soups, just real food, cooked with care.

A plate with Roasted Duck

One my my most popular super quick recipes: Roasted Duck

My recipes are budget-friendly, made with everyday ingredients, and (mostly) on the healthier side. You won’t find tubs of cream or blocks of cream cheese in every dish, and I keep deep-frying for those rare occasions when it’s truly worth it.

Still, every now and then, I love to let loose and indulge a little, it keeps cooking fun! 🙂

Peanut Butter Caramel Cheesecake

The recipes on Sweet Family Meals come from my everyday life and my love for cooking. I’m fascinated by how a few simple ingredients can turn into something truly delicious, and I enjoy finding little tricks that make cooking easier and more fun.

Here you’ll find vibrant recipes made with everyday ingredients, comforting classics as well as fresh new ideas. All of them are simple, affordable, and often can be prepared ahead.

I hope you find something here that inspires you in the kitchen! – Angie

Baked Crepe Lasagna

What you won’t find on Sweet Family Meals!

Trendy recipes just for the sake of it. I only share dishes I truly love—you won’t find cauliflower crust pizza here.

Flavorless “diet” food. I never sacrifice taste just to cut calories. If a recipe happens to be healthy, that’s a happy bonus.

Pretty food with no flavor. It has to taste as good as it looks—always.

Shortcuts that ruin flavor. I love clever kitchen hacks, but never at the cost of taste.

Finally … Don’t be shy, say “Hi”!

I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to drop me an email and say hello. While I may not always be able to reply to every single message, I truly do my best to respond whenever I can (unless it’s spam, of course 😊). One thing’s for sure, I always see your messages, and they mean a lot to me.
